We are currently in search of a Development Coordinator for a Philanthropy Organization. The position is hybrid in Washington, DC. This is a temporary, full-time assignment.

Is This Your Dream Job? The Development Coordinator has an exciting and diverse role within a growing development team. This position works in tandem with the Director, Corporate Engagement and Fundraising Team to support the fundraising efforts of the Organization through functions such as customer service, database management, campaign management and reporting.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of clerical, data entry or administrative experience
- Experience working with a non-profit organization is preferred
- Possess analytical and data synthesis skills.
- Excellent administrative, customer service and writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Proficient using databases and customer relation management (CRM) systems as plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Effective team player and proactive problem-solver.
- Strict attention to deadlines and details.
- High level of responsibility, accountability, and confidentiality.
- Willingness to take on additional duties as necessary.
How You Will Spend Your Day:
Customer Service
- Provide friendly, professional, timely and accurate response to company/donor’s inquiries, requests and issues pertaining to their contributions.
- Respond to internal customer (volunteers and staff) inquires and requests pertaining to campaign accounts or donor information.
Database Management
- Provide coordination of reporting and tracking fundraising reports, including information on accounts, donors, contributions, etc. These reports will be generated from our databases and software applications.
Campaign Management and Reporting
- Work in partnership with the Director, Corporate Engagement, and the Fundraising department to plan, implement, execute, and close campaigns.
- Partner with multiple Account Managers/Director to prepare for campaign meetings/presentations by developing agendas, preparing materials and packets, etc.
- Work with develop team to coordinate and help prepare workplace campaign trainings
- Help manage the inventory of campaign incentives and materials.
- Be responsible for ordering and disseminating campaign materials.
Other
- Develop and maintain a productive relationship with Development Services Team.
- Provide support as needed on campaign teams.
- Maintain and update campaign account files.
- Research companies and/or donors as requested via phone or the internet.
- Support various projects such as goal setting and campaign analysis by preparing and analyzing campaign reports.
- Maintain positive relationships with all staff, departments, volunteers, and agency representatives to develop internal and external support.
- Other duties as assigned.
