We are seeking a Content Coordinator/Assistant Editor to support our post-production team. The candidate will be primarily responsible for the management of creative content produced by the Content Team, which includes but is not limited to managing the tracking software, ingesting footage into servers, following up on project deadlines with content creators, assisting in physical production, taking notes in meetings, and working at the direction of the VP of Creative. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ingest Management: Handle the ingest process for all footage, ensuring it is correctly logged, organized, and safely stored. This includes managing the transfer of files from set to post-production and backing up all data.
- Supporting Producers & Editors: Collaborate closely with the editorial team, providing necessary support and assistance to streamline the editing process. This includes managing file conversions, preparing edits for review, updating & refining templates, and addressing any technical issues.
- Media Asset Management/Digital Asset Management (MAM/DAM): Enter data in project tracking software, oversee the organization and management of all digital and media assets, ensuring files are accurately cataloged, easily retrievable, and securely stored for efficient post-production workflow.
- Quality Control: Conduct basic quality control checks on all ingested footage and assist in the final QC checks to ensure that the final product meets both PragerU and industry standards.
- Set Coordination: Manage and maintain production equipment and gear, maintain cleanliness and organization of studio space, assist in set building, general on-set coordination during shoots.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the rest of the Content Teams, Design Team, and Social Media teams, ensuring that all necessary information regarding productions is distributed.
Successful Candidates Will Possess:
- Previous experience in a similar role within post-production is desirable
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A deep understanding of post-production workflows for both animation and live-action
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, quick to adapt and improvise
- Ability to work alongside strong personalities and work with well-known public figures

Salary Range: The salary target for this role is $55,000 - $67,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
