We are currently searching for an Administrative Assistant for an Educational Organization. This is a Part-Time, Fully In Person, Temporary assignment located in Baltimore, MD.

LOCATION: Baltimore, MD
POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant
SCHEDULE: Part Time (10-15 hrs./wk, then increase to 15-20 hr/s/wk. during the Summer), In Office (Tuesday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's), Between 10AM -3PM (Flexible)
DURATION: Temporary (~ 1-3 mos, but could be extended)
HOURLY: $20-22/hr. DOE
Is This Your Dream Job? The Administrative Assistant will support the Executive Director with the efficient management and operation of the organization's office, including various clerical and administrative tasks.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 1+ years of administrative support experience with a nonprofit preferred
- 1+ years of filing and data entry preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Suite required
- Experience working with various office equipment
- Must exemplify a friendly demeanor, approachable attitude, and strong communication skills
How You’ll Spend Your Day:
- Assisting the Executive Director with photocopying
- Managing mail processing and distribution within the office, as well as coordinating courier and messenger services as required
- Maintaining organized and well-stocked copy areas, overseeing supplies such as paper and toner replacements
- Monitoring and managing office supplies inventory to meet established guideline
- Ensuring documents are sorted and filed on time
- Updating information in their database using MS Office (Access, Mail Merge, Excel)
