Essential Job Functions
- Performs ground maintenance tasks related to gardening, such as planting, raking and spreading mulch
- Shovels snow and applies salt as needed
- Removes, recycles or disposes of trash to properly discard waste
- Responds to on-campus maintenance emergencies, when assigned, in a timely manner
- Operates grounds maintenance equipment
- Operates grounds vehicles including trucks, as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card upon hire
- Ability to safely maintain and operate hand and powered equipment
- Ability to work occasinoal weekend hours to maintain campus appearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Training and knowledge of proper horticultural pruning techniques

Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Charlotte Campus location upon hire.
