Work schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (may slightly vary)
Starting wage: $17.73/hr.
Wage Scale: $17.73 to $22.43
Reports to: Residential Manager
Function
The Assistant Residential Manager is responsible for assuring that the support services that are being provided to people are person centered, effective and documented consistently with Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR), contractual obligations and Shangri-La policies, practices and procedures. Reliable and regular attendance is imperative.
Requirements
- Two years of work experience in the health services and/or mental health field
- Two years of experience must have been in a position that included training responsibilities
- Additional experience may be substituted for educational requirements
- Preference may be given to those individuals that have experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Ability to operate a computer and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to maintain positive relationships
- Exercise consistently sound judgement while managing multiple priorities
- Understand and apply rules and regulations while providing support to a variety teams
- Requires frequent flexibility, patience, and the ongoing use of conflict resolution, reading and writing skills
- Current Oregon Drivers License and acceptable driving record and ability to pass background check screening
