Adult Day Services Program Manager
People Helping People has been the foundation of Senior Friendship Centers for over 50 years, and we are looking for a dynamicAdult Day Services Program Manager! The Adult Day Services Program Manager is responsible for the administration of all components of the Adult Day Service program at our Sarasota location.
We are seeking a compassionate individual who thrives on living out our values of helping others. The Program Manager will be an experienced leader who embodies integrity, respect, and collaboration. A bachelor’s degree in health care or social services is a plus.
Our Adult Day Services Programs offer loved ones who are experiencing frailties of aging a welcoming place to spend the day. Participants enjoy engaging activities, music, art/pet therapy, cognitive stimulation, socialization, cozy fireplaces, comfy chairs, and a spacious outdoor area.
Senior Friendship Centers serves older adults in four counties in Southwest Florida. Senior Friendship Centers is the safety net for close to 10,000 seniors, providing a wide variety of programs. Essential Functions:
- Responsible for maintaining current knowledge and implementation of AHCA regulations to maintain Adult Day Care licensure.
- Ensures compliance with the Adult Care Food Program standards (ACFP).
- Assures all record keeping is completed based on AHCA and all regulatory compliance standards.
- Lead, supervise, and support Adult Day Service staff according to AHCA and regulatory compliance standards.
- Schedule staff and program activities according to licensure requirements and client needs.
- Coordinates duties of Program Assistants and volunteers.
- Assures that staff is aware of job requirements and behaviors; give consistent and frequent feedback to staff on effective and ineffective interactions with clients. Communicate staff behaviors to Director.
- Conduct tours, interviews, and assesses potential clients.
- Plans, implements and evaluates social, educational and recreational programs for clients.
- Ensures that the assessment and admission process are completed in a professional and timely manner.
- Communicates effectively with various funders and their case management teams, including authorization of services for funded participants.
- Manages client status (active, hold, seasonal) and effectively communicates with families.
- Assures billing process is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Render invoices for purchases and donations to the Fiscal department.
- Completes annual employee performance appraisals in addition to providing regular feedback.
- Attends appropriate trainings to remain current with changing service environment and best practices.
- Monitors budget in compliance with the organization’s fiscal policies.
- Reports any incident of abuse or neglect as mandated by state guidelines.
- Must comply with HIPAA regulations and OSHA laws and safety guidelines.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- ADS Program Staff and Volunteers.
