STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Under the direction of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Director for Catholic Charities Neighborhood Services Integrated Health and Wellness (IHW), the CCBHC Team Coordinator will serve as an administrative leader within CCNS’ CCBHC. As a key member of CCNS’ CCBHC managerial team, the Team Coordinator will work diligently to support the growth and continued effectiveness of the CCBHC’s dynamic, interdisciplinary team to ensure program outcomes are met and clients have access to quality care at CCNS’ CCBHC program. The CCBHC Team Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating external communications with a variety of stakeholders in the community (e.g., graduate schools, trade associations, other community partners), in order to increase awareness of CCNS’ CCBHC program and expand the number of qualified staff members who join CCNS’ CCBHC team. Working closely with the CCBHC Director and CCNS’ Human Resources (HR) team, the Team Coordinator will ensure that CCNS’ CCBHC has the staff necessary to deliver all required services and that effective partnerships are built with community stakeholder to support continued CCBHC team expansion. This includes identifying and addressing gaps within the CCBHC team’s capacity rapidly and effectively by supporting staff hiring and retention strategies, as well as ongoing team development.
• Works with CCBHC Director and program leadership to set goals for CCBHC staff expansion in alignment with SAMHSA, OMH, and OASAS regulations and requirements.
• Collaborates with CCBHC Director on CCBHC team building activities (training) and HR team to strategize (e.g., hiring) that promote CCNS’ mission, as well as the program quality and financial integrity of the CCBHC.
• Works with CCBHC Director to identify, schedule and support training for implementation and expansion of Evidence Based Practices and to ensure highest quality service delivery.
• Takes an action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to program and team development in support of CCBHC and agency objectives.
• . Serves as a point person to oversee the development, execution, and monitoring of special projects that promote the overall success of the CCBHC.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field (Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, Psychology) or Communications required. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Three years professional experience in an integrated community-based care setting delivering mental health, substance use disorder, and primary care services.
• One year professional experience managing programs/projects involving multidisciplinary teams.
• Preference for candidates who are familiar with NYC, State and Federal standards and regulations related to behavioral health services and the CCBHC model
• Excellence in organizational management with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams and set and achieve program objectives
• Ability to interact with multi-disciplinary staff working across a variety of clinical and administrative teams
• Strong networking and public relations skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders, populations, and cultures
• Must be able to work under pressure & meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently & to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given and standard accepted practices
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must having working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• An understanding of and the ability to communicate the Agency's mission
