Our Operations team is seeking a Disbursement Operations Specialist based in Calgary. We're looking for a motivated, adaptable team player with a detail-oriented approach, a quick learner of complex global banking requirements, and excellent communication skills. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential.
What you’ll do:
- Manage monthly donation payment processing and cross-border disbursement verification
- Investigate and resolve disbursement issues
- Offer process optimization insights in stakeholder meetings
- Handle ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects
- Improve disbursement processes with a focus on compliance
- Maintain key relationships within Operations and Support
- Communicate critical issues to management and contribute to solutions
- Propose solutions for improvement opportunities
- Champion continuous improvement culture with an impact-focused approach on clients and charities
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education required
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, quality-focused, committed to continuous improvement
- Desirable experience with data visualization/Business Intelligence tools (e.g., JasperSoft, Looker)
- Strong analytical skills, accurate information processing
- Excellent organizational skills, manages multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for non-technical audience engagement
- Capable of independent work
- Global disbursements/international payment processing experience is an asset
