Job Purpose
Stanford’s central IT organization is looking for an experienced Database Administrator with Oracle Analytics Server and Informatica PowerCenter experience to join the Enterprise Technology team to support the implementation, maintenance, and upkeep of multiple data warehouse systems.
This position will provide technical expertise in the setup, configuration, administration, and maintenance of Oracle database , Oracle Analytics Server and Informatica PowerCenter that support mission-critical projects, processes, and activities. The position monitors and tunes applications to optimal performance and ensures proper security, integrity, and recovery of data. This role is responsible for upgrades and patches to the infrastructure components of the Data Analytics and Reporting ecosystems. Components will include Oracle database, Oracle Analytics/WebLogic Servers, web servers, replication servers, Application Express(Apex) and ORDS.

CORE DUTIES

- Install, configure, and support relational database management systems (RDBMS) with Oracle Data guard.
- Oversee and manage a complex WebLogic and Oracle Fusion Middleware environments, encompassing installation and configuration.
- Hands on experience or knowledge in administering Oracle Analytics Service (OBIEE) administration, Informatica PowerCenter
- Install, configure and troubleshoot replication with Goldengate
- Troubleshoot application deployment and runtime issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operation.
- Utilize Python and Shell scripting to automate routine database tasks and maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge in Linux based systems are a must.
- Secure applications using Secure Socket Layer, Single Sign On setups. Scan and fix vulnerabilities using Qualys
- Provide on-going system administration and technical infrastructure support.
- Develop and maintain efficient and appropriate connectivity solutions between various campus systems to ensure necessary data is available as needed.
- Develop and Enforce security standards
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for infrastructure management adhering to organizational best practices.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
AWS certifications and Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), a plus.
The expected pay range for this position is $130,000 – 160,000 per annum.
