The Role Context:
The Foundation through WITP is engaged in skilling of bureaucrats to equip them in use of emerging technologies (Data Analytics, AI, ML, Blockchain, Computer Vision, AR/VR, Drones etc.) for measurement of impact of polices, and for improving service delivery. The aim of this program is to enable government officials to start using these technologies in their organisation for above mentioned purposes. WITP conducts skilling program in partnership with Central/State Training Institutes.
As part of skilling program, an Incubation-cum-Executive Briefing Center is being setup in Delhi at one of the Training Institutes. The centre will showcase solutions to some of the tough problems faced by government departments using new and emerging technologies. As part of the training program, senior and mid-level executives will be taken around the centre to enable them to see and experience how these technologies work. Apart from training, the officials need to be shown how to conceptualise a project using emerging technologies and execute the same and that will also be done at this Centre. The Centre will also be used to incubate good ideas coming from participants in the form of PoCs/Pilots.
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage the centre’s daily operations, and provide expert presentations and tours for government officials.
·Lead and manage a dedicated support staff to ensure the smooth running of the center.
·Conduct idea generation session at the end of the visit to help officials come out with ideas to solve some of the challenges faced by then in their work area.
·Design, architect, and execute PoC of ideas which are found feasible with the help of team of developers. The project ideas will be focused on Data & Analytics, AI/ML etc.
·Work with OEMs, IT Solution companies as well as Startups to get latest solutions for showcasing at the Centre.
·Establish the best practices and governance model to run the Centre which will be first of its kind in government sector but run and operated by WITP.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Client Satisfaction: Measured via surveys and feedback from client visits to the centre (NPS).
- Centre Innovation Score: Measured based on how often new exhibits or solutions are added to the centre, or how often current exhibits are updated.
- Client Conversion Rates: Number of ideas generated by visitors in the session conducted at the end of the visit and number of PoCs developed by the team under this position.
- Knowledge Updates: Measured by tracking the director's participation in continued education, seminars, webinars, etc., regarding emerging technologies.
- Staff Performance: Regular appraisal of the support staff to ensure they're performing their roles effectively.
Education level
·A minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering or Science.
·Good understanding of AI, ML, CV, AR/VR technologies.
Experience
·8 to 12 years of experience of working in an Executive Briefing Centre of a large tech company.
·Proven experience in a similar role or a senior technology management role.
·Innovation Leadership or Startup Incubation Role in any technology company will be desirable

Certifications/ Licenses:
·Project Management Certifications like PMP or Prince2 will be desirable.
