The Development Administrative Assistant ensures that Adelante Mujeres is ready to continue its cultivation growth in Oregon and beyond. The Development Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for overseeing Adelante Mujeres' donor database platform (Salesforce) and providing key administrative support including tracking and updating funding partners' profiles. The Development Administrative Assistant reports to the Director of Development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the organization's CRM database (Salesforce). This includes data entry of pledges and contributions (payments) from individuals, foundation, corporate, donor-advised funds, government, etc.
- Provide donor acknowledgement letters and tax receipts.
- Support Development's fundraising events with event donor management (e.g., Greater Giving CRM).
- Support the Funder Cultivation Team (Director of Development & Funder Relations Officer) to build strong and lasting relationships with current and potential major donors through:
- Up-to-date donor profiles.
- Attending major donor meetings for administrative and logistical support.
- Create and send out personalized thank you letters to donors.
- Ensure Development-related inquiries are responded to in a timely manner (e.g., overseeing Development emails).
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 2 years professional experience in non-profit development, database management, proposal development, or relevant areas.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bilingual-Bicultural in Spanish & English.
- Ability to learn and work with the following software and applications: Microsoft 365, Trello, and Salesforce.
- Committed to education, social justice, women's empowerment and the environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Highly organized and detail oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within deadline-driven environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the team and organization.
- Experience with CRM databases (e.g., Salesforce, Greater Giving).
Additional Requirements:
- Complete Criminal Background Registry enrollment letter for facility number CC503161
- Ability to travel out of town to attend workshops or trainings.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Salary range: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications
- Classification: Full-time, exempt
- Telework: up to 3-4 days
