JOB SUMMARY: Employment Services Trainer- Community (ESTC) provides employment skills, digital literacy and Goodwill Career Pathways Institute (GCPI) support to the Workforce Development unit at Goodwill Central Oklahoma via the mobile unit and off-site classrooms. The ESTC works with job seekers to identify areas of interest, evaluate barriers, and create plans and employment documents to locate job or career tracks that meet the needs of the clients served. The ESTC also teaches coursework such as Employment Essentials, Workplace Computer Skills, Google IT certification and the Grow with Google initiative.
Starting pay: $50K/ year
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
� Drives the Employment Services Center Mobile Unit and delivers employment skill services to clients within the Goodwill 37-county service area to community and partner organizations.
� Facilitates mini workshops for community clients including but not limited to writing cover letters, resumes, conducting online job searches, and basic computer skill development.
� Facilitate GCPI certificate and employment programs offered under the Oklahoma Board of Private and Vocational Schools (OBPVS) through GCPI and as part of the Grow with Google partnership.
� Helps job seekers complete resumes, cover letters, and apply for jobs in their chosen area or vocation.
� Provides basic computer operations skills training geared to teach individuals to perform job searches independently.
� Promotes and Instructs Goodwill Career Pathways Institute and the certification programs offered.
� Educates clients on additional resources in the community to help overcome additional barriers and refer to other partner agencies for wrap around support services.
� Assists with application process to other agencies for services (i.e. SNAP, Unemployment, etc.)
� Maintains partner relationships that align with Goodwill certificates, programs, and services.
� Skilled at serving vulnerable, high-barrier populations.
� Maintains data tracker for clients served and reports that data to supervisor. Reports will include, but not be limited to weekly reports, monthly reports, and any other additional information as requested.
� Maintain accurate records, client notes, and data for all clients served in CaseWorthy and in unit spreadsheets.
� Makes follow-up calls to mobile unit clients outside of the Employment Services Center (ESC) area who seek ongoing support and to verify their employment status.
� Communicates with Recruiters and Employment Specialists about the employment status of the job seekers and what is needed to ensure the client remains employed.
� Offers coverage for the ESC�s in absence of the Employment Specialists.
� Reviews, discusses, explains, and adjusts with client�s, their employment goals as needed.
� Participates in staff, inter-agency or other project coordinating meetings.
� Remains current on Oklahoma employment trends and employer needs.
� Attends Goodwill and community career fairs to work on behalf of job seekers and presents information and training before individuals and groups.
� Serves as a Workforce Development team player, occasionally stepping in to assist in other areas.
� Travel up to 70% of the time.
� This is considered a safety sensitive position. No level of impairment from drugs, alcohol or prescription medications will be acceptable while performing the essential functions of this job.

QUALIFICATIONS:
� Bachelor�s degree in education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or human services related preferred.
� 1 year of public speaking or teaching experience preferred.
� Experience in job development for individuals with multiple barriers to employment preferred.
� Technology proficiency is required and must be demonstrated prior to hire.
� Ability to multi-task to best serve clients and help meet their needs.
� Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other team members required.
� Proficient in MS Office Suite (2016 +) and Google Suite, as well as able to navigate the internet with ease.
� Must have driver�s license, valid insurance, and a clean driving record.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
� Work in a climate-controlled environment most of the time.
� Travel in a mini-bus 2-4x each week is required or training off-site on behalf of the organization.
� Low to moderate noise level.
� Works 40 hours per week Monday through Friday; occasionally more for special events.
� May be required to work with individuals who have come from disadvantaging conditions including registered sex offenders, homeless, disabled, children, formerly incarcerated, veterans, and others.
