Human Resource Recruiter
St. Coletta of Greater Washington is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and secondary disabilities. We are currently seeking A Recruiter to provide recruiting and administrative support to the Human Resources department.
Examples of Essential Functions
- Pre-screen resumes for exempt and non-exempt positions and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Assist with making offers to new hires and contacting references and employment background checks.
- Attends job/career fairs.
- Ensures all DC, MD VA DOH, FBI OIG background check are completed.
- Assist in all HR areas as tasked, for example, new hire paperwork process, verification of employment, new hire orientation.
- Compile reports and create spreadsheets as needed for data collection.
- Educate staff members on benefits and HR services
Qualifications
- Associates degree in HR Management or related field from an accredited university or college
- Two (2) years of experience related to technical administrative support work; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent organizational & communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to complete assignments within specified timeframes.
- Ability to serve as a lead worker as assigned
