Position Overview:
The Skills On Wheels(SOW) Program Coordinator is integral in
the planning, designing, and implementing of practical demonstrations and
sessions for various training programs, school visits, and CSR events. This
individual will be deeply involved in coordination, operation, and
administrative functions, with extensive travel requirements, maintenance
responsibilities, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Responsibilities:
- Design
& Planning:
- Design
and tailor practical demonstrations and demos considering the target
audience's needs.
- Actively
assist in planning and executing demonstration sessions, training
programs, and events.
- Develop,
submit, and adhere to written plans and budgets for each visit and event.
- Coordination
& Implementation:
- Support
in organizing and coordinating the operational activities of training
programs and events.
- Oversee
the set-up and wind-up of vehicles for events, collaborating with drivers and conducting training when needed.
- Engage
effectively with educational institutes, industries, and stakeholders to
expand program outreach.
- Maintenance
& Inventory Management:
- Undertake
regular maintenance of tools, equipment in the Bus(Skills on Wheels), and keep the
demonstration space engaging.
- Perform
quarterly inventory assessments of tools and equipment, addressing and
escalating maintenance issues as needed.
- Administrative
& Documentation:
- Maintain
comprehensive records, registers, and a video library of events.
- Assist
in report writing, documentation, and administrative responsibilities,
coordinating closely with the Project Officer.
- Communication
& Decision Making:
- Facilitate
smooth communication among program staff and inform the Project Officer
about crucial on-field decisions.

What you Bring :
Qualifications:
- Associate
or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Engineering, or related
discipline.
- A
minimum of 2+ years of experience in program coordination, with a
preference for candidates with experience in the education or CSR sector.
- Demonstrated
ability to handle and maintain tools and equipment, with basic technical
and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience
in planning, organizing, and implementing events and training sessions.
- Strong
administrative, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent
communication skills with proficiency in engaging with various
stakeholders.
- Willingness
and ability to travel extensively.
