JOB SUMMARY: Embark on an exciting journey as the Ronald McDonald House Charities West Michigan Relationship & Development Coordinator, where you'll be at the forefront of cultivating new partnerships and fortifying existing relationships to elevate our fundraising initiatives, with a specialized focus on McDonald's collaborations. Your role will have a direct impact on ensuring our families never face their challenges alone, providing care, comfort, and a free place to stay so they can focus on their child's health. As a key team member, you'll work alongside the Chief Development Officer to promote Third Party events, orchestrate annual events, manage key relationships, and actively contribute to database management, gift recording, and acknowledgment. Support McDonald’s Programs Execution (30%)
• Assist with fostering dynamic relationships with McDonald’s partners to drive revenue, growth and expansion of Round-Up and other McDonald’s programs.
• Shape compelling promotions alongside our Senior Marketing Manager for brand excellence.
• Orchestrate the annual planning and recognition of Round-Up incentives and presentations for McDonald’s partners.
• Aggregate Round-Up data, compile comprehensive monthly reports for benchmarking and strategic decision making.
Community Engagement, Fundraising and Events (30%)
• Support the Chief Development Officer in cultivating and stewarding existing relationships and identifying new opportunities for community engagement and support.
• Lead third-party event program serving as the RMHCWM representative.
• Support the Chief Development Officer in creating and organizing outreach efforts targeting both current and prospective individuals and corporations, seeking financial support, in-kind contributions, and volunteer engagement opportunities.
• Support the Senior Marketing Manager in crafting compelling collateral, promotional materials, and engaging social media content to effectively communicate our mission and drive its advancement forward.
• Deliver impactful public speaking engagements to passionately advocate for our mission and inspire support from diverse audiences.
• Actively participate in solicitations.
Support our data ecosystem: (40%)
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gain an understanding of the database and ensure the seamless integration of data across RMHCWM.
• Generate insightful reports and analysis that fuel fundraising efforts, enabling us to inform the impact and effectiveness of appeals and other development initiatives.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of records and constituent data.
• Understand and accurately perform data entry for gifts, including tax receipts and acknowledgments when needed.
OTHER:
• Pursue opportunities for professional development as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff, vendors, medical partners, other Ronald McDonald Houses, volunteers, McDonald’s, and other personals associated with RMHCWM.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings.
• Additional House Services support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Current and valid Drivers License
• Minimum of three years office experience, preferably in a non-profit setting or other related field.
• Proven competencies in software applications and programs, particularly Exceed or other fundraising databases, Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Power Point. Excellent word processing and file management skills.
• Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
• Attention to detail, follow up and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to function professionally under pressure, while managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and self-initiate.
