Client Profile\- <\/b>A private, nonprofit civil rights\/fair housing organization founded in 2011.
<\/p>

<\/div>

Job Summary<\/b>\- The community outreach coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to the Center's Education and Outreach Program. Working directly with the Deputy Director and Executive Director.
<\/p>

Duties<\/b>
<\/p>

Responsible for the supervision, planning, implementation, coordination and monitoring of community development programs including annual conference, legal seminars, etc.
<\/li> Deliver training and presentations in effort to educate external partners and individuals of organization's mission and services.
<\/li> Prepares evaluation reports; performs analyses; and reviews program plans, funding and performance in order to present to Executive Director and board..
<\/li> Meets with community leaders and potential sponsors to assist with various fundraising events and opportunities.
<\/li> Prepare sponsorship queries, written acknowledgement letters, literature.
<\/li> Assist in the creation of publications, communication campaigns including newsletters, PSAs, etc; maintain expense and marketing swag inventory.
<\/li> Keep database updated with education outcomes.
<\/li> Reply to general phone, email and social media inquiries
<\/li> Other duties as assigned

Qualifications<\/b>
<\/p>

Bachelorâs degree in related field or equivalent experience
<\/li> Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and possess good analytical, problem solving, and writing skills with strong attention to detail
<\/li> Demonstrate the ability to recruit and manage volunteers
<\/li> Must be organized, thorough, accurate and possess proficiency with computer and related needs
<\/li> Possess good teamwork skills and the ability to work with a diverse population
<\/li> Ability to work independently and as part of a team
<\/li> Strong written and verbal skills
<\/li> Ability to attend evening and weekend meeting as needed
<\/li> Bilingual English\/Spanish a plus
<\/li> Starting salary: $40, 000 to $48,000 depending on experience; competitive health insurance and benefits
<\/li> Hours: 8am to 5pm (1hour lunch) (Hours could vary); criminal background check
<\/li> Must be completely vaccinated or have a documented and signed medical exemption<\/b>
