Quality Lead – Home Care

The Role
As Quality Lead – Home Care, you will provide national leadership and coordination of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement activities across BaptistCare’s Home Care services. You’ll ensure the implementation of robust quality systems, frameworks, and improvement initiatives that enable registration readiness, risk management, and performance monitoring aligned with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and Support at Home reforms.
You’ll foster collaboration between frontline teams and the Innovation and Quality Division to drive best practice, ensuring consistent, evidence-informed approaches across all jurisdictions.
This role reports to the General Manager Quality – Home Care and is a 12month-fixed term position.
Location & Work Type
- Location: Hybrid work options available with travel across our Home Care services
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position.
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility for travel
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of quality frameworks, systems, and processes across Home Care services.
- Monitor compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements, ensuring readiness for audits and accreditation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and client outcomes.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, care, or quality management.
- Demonstrated experience in quality, risk, and compliance leadership within aged care, home care, or community services.
- In-depth knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation, and accreditation processes.
- A current Australian driver’s licence, and capacity to travel.
- Success in implementing quality frameworks and systems.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and project coordination skills.
- Proven leadership and influence across multiple sites.
- Experience in strategic or change projects.
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in faith-based and/or not-for-profit community service environments
