Job Summary\- <\/span><\/b>Executive Director is responsible for leading strategic direction, program growth, revenue development, external and government relations and crisis management for newly created Indy Metro branch office of national non\-profit. <\/span>This individual will be at the front line of leading the charge on the nationally recognized Every Child, a foster care initiative.<\/span>

Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Work directly with COO and Executive Director of National Expansion to provide collaborative leadership to the foster care initiative Every Child Indiana.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>
Focus on building the Indy Metro Branch to sustainability over three years (the corporate non\-profit will make the initial investment in the branch and decrease over three years)<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Participate in identifying new branch office space and build out; hiring staff members based on need; manage staff.<\/span>
<\/li>
Provide support for Every Child Indiana Network organization, deployment of Air Game in Indiana and a strategy to increase foster families, resources and engagement opportunities for the community.<\/span>
<\/li>
Work with corporate CEO to build political will for Every Child Indiana with the Indiana Department of Human Services, Governorâs Office, State Legislature, etc.<\/span>
<\/li>
<\/span><\/span><\/span>Work with corporate marketing and communications team to develop and implement a sound communication and engagement plan.<\/span>
<\/li>
Build collaboration with leaders from communities of color in Indiana.<\/span>
<\/li>
Lead collaborative partnership with nonprofit organizations working in child welfare space across Indiana.<\/span>
<\/li>
Develop partnerships to mobilize faith communities to engage with Department of Child Services.<\/span>
<\/li>
Lead the building and continual expansion of Indiana donor base, ensuring long\-term support from diverse and balanced revenue sources; fundraising events; private donors; grants; business partners resulting in an annual budget of $1 million by end of 2025.<\/span>

<\/div>Qualifications<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Bachelorâs degree required; masterâs preferred<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
At least three years of experience in staff and\/or board leadership role in education, nonprofit or related sectors<\/span>
<\/li>
Minimum five years of experience in launching, growing and sustaining program, business or organization<\/span>
<\/li>
Demonstrated ability in providing strategic oversight for the implementation of signature events.<\/span>
<\/li>
Results\-oriented and proven fundraising success with an ability to provide continuous improvement in organizationâs fundraising infrastructure.<\/span>
<\/li>
A willingness to be âhands\-onâ and work in a lean, fast\-paced organization with limited administrative support.<\/span>
<\/li>
Effective communicator with strong writing and phone skills.<\/span>
<\/li>
Possess cultural and emotional intelligence and an ability to work with diverse groups of people.<\/span>
<\/li>
Working knowledge of donor database, programs and gran procurement processes.<\/span>
<\/li>
Proven track record in leading staff teams including coaching and motivating teams to be successful.<\/span>
<\/li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Asana (project management software) a plus<\/span>
<\/li>
Starting salary $70k to $100k based on experience; organization has highly competitive benefit package<\/span>
